That is a quote that I think most girls are familiar with. I only have one problem with it. It's not mine. Audrey didn't just pull those things out of thin air. She believed in them. What do you believe in? What makes you keep going? What brings a smile to your face?

I believe in laughing when everyone else is sad. I believe in having a messy car, and always forgetting where you put your car keys. I believe in kissing on the first date, never having to pay for anything, and always having a car door opened for me. I believe in always making a statement, always smiling, always saying thank you and always meeting new people. I believe in telling people how you feel about them even if they don't feel the same. I believe in knowing how to check your oil, knowing how your parents met, and knowing what it feels like to be successful. I believe in happiness, hope, love, dreaming, peace, and faith. I believe in my daughter. I believe in changing my shower curtain every month, spending $70 on fashion magazines a month, and only drinking Starbucks when they serve their Pumpkin Spice Latte. I believe in returning rented movies only after you have a $25 late fee. I believe in taking A LOT of pictures of yourself on webcam, putting on heels to wash dishes, and fake eyelashes to run to get milk. I believe in memorizing phone numbers, never sleeping with out sheets on your bed, and making my mom do 20 loads of my laundry once a month. I believe in always checking to see if a man is wearing a wedding ring before you even look at his face, giving your best friends numbers to waiters at applebees, and talking about weddings for hours with your best friend that has her whole life planned out. I believe in giving advice, and taking it.  I believe in traveling, in meeting new people, and always saying yes to a new opportunity. I believe in my friends, my family, and my mentors. I believe in red lipstick, a smokey eye, 5" heels, and a mini skirt I also believe in basketball shorts, a sports bra, and no make up. I believe in sleeping naked, always pushing snooze, and never being late. I believe in eating ice cream for breakfast, lunch..and dinner. I believe in making people feel good about themselves. I believe in making a difference, using spell check, recycling, eating popcorn at the movies, and never wearing socks. I believe in the power of a smile, the added comfort of a hug, and the butterflies in your tummy when someone says I love you. I believe in only getting married once, never being afraid, and always vacuuming before people come over. I believe in rocking my baby girl to sleep, taking 25 minute showers, and still eating snoopy fruit snacks when you are 40. I believe in Jack Johnson, crying during The Lion King, and getting awkward when people are having sex in a movie you are watching with your mom and dad. I believe in speeding and tapping on your breaks when you pass a cop. I believe in the sticker person at walmart, the homeless person on the side of the interstate, and the 14 year old that is pregnant with twins. I believe that cancer is a sick joke, loosing a child would be terrible, and smoking is stupid. I believe lying is necessary sometimes. I believe in missing a phone call and then texting the person saying "did you call?" I believe in looking at the stars, holding hands, and falling asleep in someones arms. I believe in soul mates, true love, and prince charming. I believe mine will come... someday... maybe. I believe that love finds you when you stop looking. I believe in having a good old fashoined sleepover when you are 20 years old. I believe in not going to the dentist for 2 years, then "accidentally" biting his finger..hard...when you go. I beleive in telling the truth, making people laugh so hard they pee, and singing in the shower so loud your neighbors can hear. I believe in watching criminal minds, the lifetime channel, and laughing your ass off at the show cheaters. I believe in you... and I believe in ME.
