How old would you be if you didn't know how old you are?
If no one ever told me how old I was, I would look at myself, my life, and my accomplishments and think that I was around 25. Now, I don't know what it feels like to be '25' but I know that I have had more life experiences then most people that are 19. Everything in my life happened to me really extremely early, and I have had to learn a lot of life long lessons in a short period of time. But you know what? I wouldn't change it for the world. I love telling people I am 19 and they are shocked. It just goes to rule out the 'teen moms are losers' stigma that people have. Yup, I'm successful, smart, mature, not on welfare, and have a 2 year old daughter... soooo what was that about stupid slutty teen moms? nothing? Thats what i thought.
Which is worse? Failing or Never trying.
NEVER TRYING! hands down. It's like the oldest lesson in the book.. you never know if you don't try! The way I think about failure is even though you 'failed' if you learned something along the way about yourself/the future/how to do it better next time.. then it was not even a failure. Keep trying.
If life is so short, why do we do so many things we don’t like and like so many things we don’t do? I actually have been thinking about this a lot lately. I can not answer for other people but I know one thing is for sure about the rest of my life.. I will spend it doing what i love, with people that make me happy. Its not all about money people, At the end of your life you are going to think more about your family, friends, vacations, cristmas memories then the amount of your paychecks. Do what you love. If you are not passionate about your job.. QUIT. Please ask yourself one question: "If happiness was the national currency, what kind of work would make you rich?" Because in the end its all about love and happiness.
What is the one thing you’d most like to change about the world?
hm, I am a go-getter.. there is a lot that I would like to change. ONE thing at the top of my list is I want people to feel good about themselves. I want to give other people the self -confidence they need to make the changes they want to make in the world. I want them to feel like a million dollars. It breaks my heart when people say that they are ugly or get picked on cause they have acne and don't wear a size 2. I want to make all those people feel good about themselves. Not everyone needs to weigh 110lbs, be 5'10, and bleach blonde, blue eyes, and big boobs. Everyone is beautiful in their own way.. and I would like to help people know that about themselves. There is nothing worse then waking up in the morning and wanting to hide your body or face in fear of getting made fun of.. EMBRACE it and make yourself beautiful. So... what would I change? Societies pressure of being 'prefect'.. I want EVERYONE to feel beautiful even if society is telling them they are ugly.
If the average human life span was 40 years, how would you live your life differently?
I'm not going to publicly answer this one, I just want everyone to think about it. You are not guaranteed to live to 95 years old. So if your answer to this question is along the lines of have kids, get married, go to church more, take a lot of vacations, tell my mom i love her... then WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING!? You should be spending every minute of you life like it is your last... Tomorrow is not a promise so live today in pure happiness and surround yourself with the people that you love and do what puts a smile on your face. every day. I know sometimes it is not that easy.. but seriously challenge yourself to stop doing what you hate with people you cant stand.. do what you love with people that make you happy....
